After the attack in Bakk Doeng, North Vietnamese, Khmer Viet Cong and Koreans retreated and set up shelters in various villages. The first group of 150 soldiers set up shelters at the east of Tranpeang Prey VT:653-907, while the second group of about 200 set up shelters in Talakk village VT: 664-899, Sangkat Trach Tong, Oudong district, Kampong Speu province.
ក្រោយពេលវាយប្រហារសាលាស្រុកបាក់ដឹង ពួកខ្មែររៀតកុងយួនខាង ជើង និងកូរ៉េ បានដកថយមកតាំងទីជម្រកដូចខាងក្រោមនេះៈ ក្រុមទី១ មានគ្នា១៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបានតាំងជម្រកនៅខាងកើតភូមិ ត្រពាំងព្រៃវ៉េតេៈ៦៥៣-៩០៧។ ក្រុមទី២ មានគ្នាប្រហែល ២០០នាក់ បានតាំងនៅភូមិតាឡាក់ វ៉េតេៈ៦៦៤-៨៩៩ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ ត្រាចទង ស្រុកឧដុង្គ ខេត្ដកំពង់សឺ្ព។
