On March 5, 1972, 70 Khmer Viet Cong Armed Forces retreated from VT 498-530, to set up shelters in Veal village at VT 522-527, Srang sub-district, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៥ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៧០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបានដកថយពីចំណុចវ៉េតេ៤៩៨-៥៣០ ទៅតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិវាល ត្រង់វ៉េតេ៥២២-៥២៧ ក្នុងឃុំស្រង់ ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។
