On March 6, 1971, about 200 North Yuon Viet Cong armed forces with modern guns hid at WT 055-009, in sangkat Preah Prasap, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province, and 100 North Yuon Viet Congs and Khmer Rouges hid at WV 048-024, in Prey Thom forest. Those enemies were about to smach Prek Tamak district office in the future.
កាលពីរាត្រីថ្ងៃ៦-មីនា-១៩៧១ ខ្មាំងយួនយៀកកុង២០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធទំនើបៗគ្រប់ដៃបានមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៥៥-០០៩ សង្កាត់ព្រះប្រសប់ ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល។ យៀកកុង និងខ្មែរក្រហម១០០នាក់ទៀត បានលាក់ខ្លួននៅព្រៃធំ ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េអ៊ុយ ០៤៨-០២៤។ ពួកវាប្រុងវាយប្រហារសាលាស្រុកព្រែកតាមាក់នៅពេលឆាប់ៗ។
