On March 1, 1974, Captain Suon Mong, interrogated Mely, who had served the Khmer Communist Movement since June 1973, as a combatant. He was arrested on January 20, 1974, during fighting at Kob Srov by the National Army. He added that he had fought the National Army 3 times since he joined.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ អនុសេនីយ៍ឯក សួន ម៉ុង បាន សួរចម្លើយជនឈ្មោះ ប៉ិល លី ដែលជាជនបម្រើខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ កាលពីខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ក្នុងឋានៈជាយុទ្ធជន ហើយដែលត្រូវបាន កងទ័ពជាតិចាប់ខ្លួនបាននៅលានប្រយុទ្ធកប់ស្រូវ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២០ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤។ ខ្លួនបាននិយាយថា ចាប់តាំងពីខ្លួនបានបម្រើ ខ្មាំងមកបានប្រយុទ្ធជាមួយកងទ័ពជាតិចំនួន៣លើកមកហើយ។
