On March 22, 1974, first lieuteneant Seng Chen Kea, interrogated a defector named Ma Seng Hort. Hort said that the Communist persecuted people and that they had no freedom, moreover, the people were ordered to clear forests, pile up dirt, cut Kapok trees to make rafts and they required the people pay them money deponding on their families caste. He can not endured their oppression, so he and his families escaped to join with the National Government.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ អនុសេនីយ៍ទោ សេង ជិនគា បានសួរចម្លើយជនចុះចូលម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ ម៉ា សេង ហ៊ត។ ជននេះនិយាយថា ពួកខ្មាំងបានធើ្វការគៀបសង្កត់ជិះជាន់ និងបំបិទសិទ្ធិសេរីភាពប្រជាជន ជាពិសេសពួកវាឱ្យអ្នកស្រុកកាប់ព្រៃ លើកដី កាប់ដើមគរ ធើ្វជាក្បូនដាក់ទនេ្ល ហើយថែមទាំងតម្រូវឱ្យប្រជាជនបង់វិភាគទានតាមវណ្ណៈ។ ដោយទ្រាំនឹងការជិះជាន់មិនបាន ជននេះព្រមទាំងគ្រួសារក៏ជម្លៀសចេញមករស់នៅជាមួយរដ្ឋាភិបាល សាធារណៈរដ្ឋវិញ។
