On April 25, 1973, about 300 Vietnamese and Khmer Viet Congs equipped with PM-AC guns, B-40 guns and M-79 guns, moved from Chamkar Yuon at VT 900-947 and VT 878-953, of Anlung Sleng village, Sangkat Sam Buor, Muk Kampoul district towards Russei Chroy village from WT 010-003 to VT 935-808 and VT 921-937, 918-935, 920-934, of Sangkat Bak Kheng, Muk Kampoul district, Phnom Del province. The enemies were about to attack the National Army Position in Prek Leap and National Marine Corps at Chroy Chang Va in the future.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៥ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួន និងខ្មែរប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធប៉េអឹមអាសេ, បេ៤០ និងអឹម៧៩ ធ្វើចលនាចេញពីចម្ការយួន ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៩០០-៩៤៧ និងត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៧៨-៩៥៣ ក្នុងភូមិអន្លង់ស្លែង សង្កាត់សំប៊ួរ ស្រុកមុខកំពូល ឆ្ពោះទៅលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងភូមិឬស្សីជ្រោយ ចាប់ពីត្រង់ ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០១០-០០៣ រហូតដល់វ៉េតេ ៩៣៥-៨០៨ និងត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៩២១-៩៣៧, ៩១៨-៩៣៥, ៩២០-៩៣៤ ក្នុងសង្កាត់បាក់ខែង ស្រុកមុខកំពូល ខេត្ដភ្នំដិល។ ពួកខ្មាំងទាំងនេះ មានគោលបំណងប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅព្រែកលាប និងពួនស្ទាក់បាញ់កងម៉ារីនយើងនៅជ្រោយចង្វារ ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗនេះ។
