On June 18, 1971, about 150 North Yuon-Khmer Viet Congs moves from Cham Bab mountain to settle shelters at VT 875-244, in Ponley village, and some 50 others deployed at VT 887-243, in Samrong village. The enemies were under two commanders, named Kroem Van and Men Sun, a former director of Trapeang Srang school; including a foodstuffs provider, named Pech Pao.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៨-មិថុនា-១៩៧១ យៀកកុង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងបាន ចេញពីភ្នំចំបាប់ ចូលមកតាំងទីនៅភូមិពន្លៃ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨៧៥-២៤៤ ប្រហែល១៥០នាក់, នៅភូមិសំរោង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨៨៧-២៤៣ ប្រហែល៥០នាក់។ ខ្មាំងទាំងនេះក្រោមបញ្ជាការ ឈ្មោះ ក្រឹម វ៉ាន និង ម៉ែន ស៊ុន អតីតចាងហ្វាងសលានៅ ត្រពាំងស្រង់ និងឈ្មោះ ប៉ីច ប៉ោ ជាអ្នកផ្ដល់ស្បៀង។
