On June 26, 1971, about 150 Khmer Viet Congs came to hide at VT 924-644, in sangkat Prek Kampeus and at VT 900-694 in sangkat Cheung Ek, Dangkao district, Kandal province. The enemies mingled with simple people to collect foodstuffs and spy on National Army. On the other hand, they were about to attack Takhmau provincial town.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៦-មិថុនា-១៩៧១ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល១៥០នាក់ បានចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅក្នុងសង្កាត់ព្រែកកំពឹស ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៩២៤-៦៤៤ និងសង្កាត់ជើងឯក ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៩០០-៦៩៤ ក្នុងស្រុកដង្កោ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពួកខ្មាំងក្លែងខ្លួនធ្វើជាអ្នកស្រុកដើរ អង្គាស់ស្បៀងអាហារ និងឈ្លបយកការណ៍ពីកងទ័ពជាតិ។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀត ពួកខ្មាំងមានបំណងនឹងវាយប្រហារមកទីក្រុងតាខ្មៅផង។
