On September 25, 1970, 450 North Yuon Viet Congs including 40 percent of Khmers, divided into small groups and deployed in areas of Peang Lvea sub-district, Phnom Srouch district of Kampong Speu province. They were about to attack Phmom Penh city on the Phchum Ben's day.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៥ វិច្ឆិកា ១៩៧០ ពួកវៀតកុងយួនខាងជើងចំនួន ៤៥០នាក់ មានលាយខ្មែរចំនួន៤០ភាគរយ បានបំបែកគ្នាជាក្រុម នៅតាមតំបន់នានាក្នុងឃុំពាំងល្វា ស្រុកភ្នំស្រួច ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ គោលបំណងរបស់ពួកនេះបម្រុងវាយក្រុងភ្នំពេញ នៅឱកាសភ្ជុំបិណ្ឌ។
