On May 6, 1973, some 400 Khmer Viet Cong Armed Forces, equipped with two (82mm) mortars, four (60 mm) mortars, five FM-AC guns, B-40 guns, M-79 guns and 2 walkies talkies, departed from Trang village at VT 299-422, towards Chum Srok village at VT 655-515, in Sangkat Veal, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province.
នៅថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៤០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធត្បាល់ ៨២មីលីម៉ែត្រ ២ដើម, ៦០មីលីម៉ែត្រ ៤ដើម, អែហ្វអឹមអាសេ ៥ដើម, វិទ្យុទាក់ទង២គ្រឿង, ក្រៅពីនោះ ប៉េអឹមអាសេ, បេ៤០ និង អឹម៧៩ បានចេញដំណើរពីភូមិទ្រាំង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៥៩៩-៤២២ សំដៅនៅភូមិជុំស្រុក ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៥៥-៥១៥ ក្នុងសង្កាត់វាល ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ ក្រោយមកខ្មាំងចូលមកសម្រាកនៅភូមិធ្លកយល់ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៩៩១-៥៨២ សង្កាត់អង្គពពេល ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ ដល់ទៀប ភ្លឺពួកវាបន្ដដំណើរឆ្លងកាត់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៣ សំដៅទៅទិសខាងកើត។
