On january 23, 1971, the 5 Marin Corps of South Vietnamese departed from Neak Loeung while they were adjacent Koh Reah, they started shelling at the post of Khmer Army leaving one dead and 6 injured. On january 25, 1971, they returned to the same position and fired at local people's houses leaving 3 houses burnt and 1 cow dead.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៣-មករា-១៩៧១ ពួកម៉ារីនរដ្ឋការយួនខាងត្បូងចំនួន ៥គ្រឿង បានបើកចេញពីអ្នកលឿង លុះមកដល់ទន្ទឹមកោះរះស្រាប់តែ ពួកវាបាញ់ផ្លោងទៅប៉ុស្ដិ៍ទាហានខ្មែរជាច្រើនគ្រាប់ បណ្ដាលឱ្យស្លាប់ម្នាក់ និងរបួស៦នាក់។ លុះដល់ថ្ងៃ២៥-មករា-១៩៧១ ពួកវាបាន ត្រឡប់មកវិញ ទន្ទឹមប៉ុស្ដិ៍ទាហានខ្មែរយើងដដែលហើយបានបាញ់ ផ្លោងទៅលើផ្ទះអ្នកស្រុកម្ដងទៀត បណ្ដាលឱ្យឆេះផ្ទះ៣ខ្នង និងស្លាប់គោ ១ក្បាល។
