On May 18, 1973, some 2,000 Khmer Viet Cong Armed Forces under the command of Chan Vann, were devided into 2 groups, of 1,000 men each and departed towards Treng village at WT 085-506 in Sangkat Talon, Sa Ang district and towards Chraoy Russei village at WT 129-496 in Sangkat Bra Sat, Sa Ang district, Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៨ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រមាណ ២,០០០ នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ចាន់ វ៉ាន់ បាន ចែកគ្នាជា២ក្រុម ក្នុងនោះមួយក្រុមៗមានចំនួន១,០០០ នាក់ ហើយធ្វើដំណើរឆ្ពោះទៅកាន់ភូមិត្រែង ត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៨៥-៥០៦ ក្នុងសង្កាត់តាលន់ ស្រុកស្អាង និងក្នុងភូមិជ្រោយឬស្សី ត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១២៩-៤៩៦ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ប្រាសាទ ស្រុកស្អាង «កណ្ដាល»។
