On May 23, 1971, about 50 Khmer Viet Cong armed forces under the command of Ai Thuon, came to set shelters in Cham Hay village at VT 444-559, Thamada A, Samrong Tong district of Kampong Speu. On May 24, 1971, 70 Viet Cong and Khmer Viet Cong armed forces came to hide in Maket village at VT 422-560 in the same district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៣ ឧសភា ១៩៧១ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់ដោយ អាវុធប្រហែល៥០នាក់ ស្ថិតនៅក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ អៃ ធួន បាន ចូលមកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិចំហាយ វ៉េតេ ៤៤៤-៥៥៩ ឃុំធម្មតាអរ ស្រុកសំរោងទង ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ នៅថ្ងៃទី២៤ ឧសភា ១៩៧១ មានយួនខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ៧០នាក់ ផេ្សងទៀតបាន លាក់ខ្លួននៅភូមិម្កាក់ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៤២២-៥៦០ ក្នុងឃុំ ស្រុក និងខេត្ដដូចខាងលើ។
