A source reported that on January 11, 1971, about 400 Viet Cong armed forces hid in villager's houses in Angkor Ban village at WU:239-212, Angkor Ban sub-district, Kang Meas district. They told villagers that they would bring more soldiers to help attack and seize Prey Totoeng and Skun in the future.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មាំង វៀតកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែល៤០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចូល មកបង្កប់លាក់ខ្លួនតាមផ្ទះអ្នកស្រុកក្នុងភូមិអង្គរបាន ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េ អ៊ុយៈ២៣៩-២១២ ក្នុងសង្កាត់អង្គបានស្រុកកងមាស។ ខ្មាំងបានប្រាប់ អ្នកស្រុកថា ខ្លួននឹងបញ្ជូនទ័ពមកទៀតដើម្បីនឹងវាយយកព្រៃទទឹង និងស្គន់ អោយបានក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ។
