On May 24, 1971, about 300 Viet Cong armed forces came to hide at VU 856-679, 680-687 in Samrong Sen sub-district of Kampong Chhnang province. They hid in those places only on day time, but at night they moved to the closed villages.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ ឧសភា ១៩៧១ យួនយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ បានមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៨៥៦-៦៧៩, ៦៨០-៦៨៧ ក្នុងឃុំសំរោងសែន ខេត្ដកំពង់ឆ្នាំង។ ពួកខ្មាំងនេះបានលាក់ខ្លួននៅចំណុចខាងលើតែពេលថ្ងៃទេ ពេលយប់ទើប ចូលទៅរកភូមិជិតនោះ។
