On May 27, 1971, about 1,600 Viet Cong armed forces came to set up military bases along a river bank in Angkor Borei sub-district, Prey Lvea and Kampong Chap sub-district in Prey Kabass district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ឧសភា ១៩៧១ ពួកខ្មាំងយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប្រហែល១,៦០០នាក់ បានចូលមកតាំងមូលដ្ឋានទ័ពតាមមាត់ស្ទឹង ក្នុងឃុំអង្គរបូរី ឃុំព្រៃល្វា និងឃុំកំពង់ចាប ក្នុងព្រៃកប្បាស។
