On May 30, 1971, Viet Cong armed forces came to set hidden camps in a forest 300m far from Prasat Boran at WV 043-254, 035-260 in Dai sub-district at WV 048-663 and WV 050-245, WV 060-662 in Sambo sub-district in Kampong Svay district of Kampong Thom province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣០ ឧសភា ១៩៧១ យួនយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ គ្រប់ធុន បានមកធ្វើជំរុំលាក់ខ្លួននៅក្នុងព្រៃឃ្លាតពីប្រាសាទបុរាណ ប្រហែល ៣០០ម៉ែត្រ ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េវ៉េ ០៤៣-២៥៤, ០៣៥-២៦០ ក្នុងឃុំដៃ និងឌុបដឺវ៉េវ៉េ ០៤៨-៦៦៣, ០៥០-២៤៥, ០៦០-៦៦២ ក្នុងឃុំសំបូរណ៍ ស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ។
