A source reported that about 100 Khmer Viet Cong, mixed with North Viet Congs, under Vietnames commander, named Om Seng, had built up headquarter and dug trenches and also hidden themselves at WT 055-358, 089-360 along a channel. They were prepairing to raid National Armed Forces who came into Svay Tamek village, Koh Thom district and public gathering.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា មានខ្មាំងប្រដាប់អាវុធចំនួន១០០នាក់ លាយចម្រុះខ្មែរ-យួន ស្ថិតនៅក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ អ៊ុំ សេង ជាតិយួន បានតាំងទីបញ្ជាការ និងជម្រកខ្លួន ហើយមានជីកលេណដ្ឋាន នៅតាមបណ្ដោយព្រែកទៀត ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៥៥-៣៥៨ និងឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៨៩-៣៦០ ដើម្បីត្រៀមរៀបចំទប់ទល់ការពារមិនឱ្យ កងទ័ពជាតិធ្វើដំណើរចូលទៅតំបន់ទីប្រជុំជនភូមិស្វាយតាមែក ស្រុកកោះធំបាន។
