On February 26, 1971, approximately 300 Khmer Rouge armed forces gathered in Chae Teal village at VT:721-632, sangkat Bat Lavea, Kandal Stung district of Kandal province in an attempt to ambush National Army base in Bek Chan who were going to start military operation along Prek Tnaot.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែកុម្ភះ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ មានខ្មែរក្រហមប្រដាប់ដោយ អាវុធប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ បានមកប្រមូលផ្ដុំគ្នានៅភូមិឈើទាល ត្រង់ វ៉េតេ ៧២១-៦៣២ សង្កាត់បត់ល្វា ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដ កណ្ដាល។ ក្នុងគោលបំណងស្ទាក់បាញ់កងទ័ពជាតិនៅបែកចាន ដែល នឹងប្រតិបត្ដិការនៅតាមព្រែកត្នោត។
