On June 18, 1971, about 2000 Viet Cong armed forces came to set up shelter on the both sides of Tonle Tauch river from WT 145-914 to 184-980 to wait for their forces in attempt to attack national army in Eastern bank of Mekong river.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៨ មិថុនា ១៩៧១ មានយួនយៀកកុងប្រហែល ២,០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបានចូលមកតាំងជម្រកនៅអម សង្ខាងទនេ្លតូចត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១៤៥-៩១៤ ដល់ ១៨៤-៩៨០ ដើម្បីរង់ចាំគ្នាវាមកបន្ថែមនឹងបានចាប់ផ្ដើមវាយប្រហារមក លើកងទ័ពជាតិនៅត្រើយខាងកើតទនេ្លមេគង្គ។
