A source reported that on January 23, 1971, approximately 500 enemies including 350 Khmer armed forces came from Sithor Kandal district of Prey Veng province and divided their forces to 2 groups to hide them selve 250 of then hid in forest near Snay Pul Channel, and another 250 hid in villager's houses from Snag Pul, to the intersections road in Peareang District.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មាំងចំនួន ប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ ដោយមានខ្មែរចំនួនប្រហែល៣៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចុះមកពីស្រុកស៊ីធរកណ្ដាល ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង ចូលមក បំបែកគ្នាជា២ក្រុម លាក់ខ្លួននៅក្នុងព្រៃក្បែរចុងព្រែកស្នាយពល ចំនួន ប្រហែល២៥០នាក់ និងប្រហែល២៥០នាក់ទៀត បំបែកលាក់ខ្លួនតាម ផ្ទះអ្នកស្រុកពីផ្សាស្នាយពល រហូតដល់ផ្លូវបំបែកជា៤ក្នុងស្រុកពារាំង។
