On May 30, 1971, about 200 North and Khmer Viet Cong built shelters up at VT:795-938 in Boeng Chamroeun region, Chrey Los sub-district, Ponhie Leu district, Kandal province. Some 100 other Khmer Viet Cong and North Viet Cong armed forces hid at VT 796-935, which was near Meng Lake. And 200 others hid at VT 793-817 in forest, Kha Veang sub-district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មាំងយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរប្រដាប់ អាវុធ២០០នាក់ បានតាំងកន្លែងលាក់ខ្លួននៅតំបន់បឹងចំរើន ត្រង់វ៉េតេៈ ៧៩៥-៩៣៨ សង្កាត់ជ្រៃលាស់ ស្រុកពញាឮ។ ខ្មាំងយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ១០០នាក់ បានលាក់ខ្លួននៅក្បែរបឹងមីង វ៉េតេៈ៧៩៦-៩៣៥។ ហើយ២០០នាក់ ដដៃទៀតលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងព្រៃ ត្រង់វ៉េតេៈ៧៩៣-៨១៧ សង្កាត់ឃ្វាំង។
