On May 04, 1971, 30 North and Khmer Viet Cong armed forces built shelters up at VT:930-597 in Thamada Or sub-district, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province. These enemies always operated in the above place from the morning to afternoon and turned back to their shelters at night. On the other hand, they had banned villagers from going to Kampong Speu market.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ មានយៀកកុងខាងជើង និងខ្មែរ យៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ៣០នាក់ បានតាំងជម្រកនៅត្រង់វ៉េតេៈ៤៣០-៥៩៧ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ធម្មតាអរ ស្រុកសំរោងទង ខេត្ដកំពង់សឺ្ព។ ពួកវាតែងចេញប្រតិបតិ្ដការពេលថ្ងៃ ហើយពេលយប់ត្រឡប់មក ជម្រកវិញ។ ពួកវាបានហាមអ្នកស្រុកមិនអោយមកផ្សារកំពង់សឺ្ព។
