On July 15, 1974, about 300 Khmer Communist in battalion 182 moved from Prey Nop and Veal Renh toward Kampot province. 10 Khmer Communist soldiers placed two 105 mm heavy artilleries at US 699-812 to the east of a pagoda. One 105 mm heavy artillery which was plandered from National Army by Khmer Communist , after firing shells at Kam Pot province. Khmer Communist soldiers stored dresses at US 729-660 in Sangke village, on the other hand, they stored weapons and gun powders at US 689-802, 686-802 in Sre Veng pagoda and built a hospital at US 694-798 near Sre Veng pagoda.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៥-កក្កដា-១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ នៅក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូច១៨២ បានចេញពីព្រៃនប់ និងវាលរេញមកកាន់ កំពត ដោយទុកគ្នាវា១០នាក់ និងតាំងកាំភ្លើងកាណុង១០៥មម ២ដើម ត្រង់ចំណុចអ៊ុយអេស ៦៩៩-៨១២។ កាំភើ្លងកាណុងទំហំ១០៥មម ដែលរឹបអូសពីកងទ័ពជាតិយើងយកមកតាំងនៅចំណុចអ៊ុយអេស ៦៩៩-៨១២ បន្ទាប់ពីបាញ់ចូលកំពត។ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដបានស្ដុក ខោអាវ អាវុធ គ្រាប់រំសេវ និងអង្ករ ដូចជា ខោអាវនៅភូមិសង្កែ ត្រង់ចំណុចអ៊ុយអេស ៧២៩-៦៦០, អាវុធ និងគ្រាប់នៅវត្ដស្រែ វែង ចំណុចអ៊ុយអេស ៦៨៩-៨០២, ៦៨៦-៨០២ និងមន្ទីរពេទ្យ ខ្មាំងមួយកន្លែងនៅជិតវត្ដស្រែវែង ត្រង់ចំណុចអ៊ុយអេស ៦៩៤-៧៩៨។
