On July 25, 1974 a group of Khmer Communist , equipped with AK47, M79, attacked Khmer Liberation Position based in Chroy Pruos village. During the fighting two Khmer communists including Tum Khet, unit chief of Peang Roung, made a contact with the village chief named Pet Than in order to inform villagers to escape from attack.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៥-កក្កដា-១៩៧៤ ពួកខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដក្រុមប្រដាប់ដោយ អាវុធអាកា៤៧, អ៊ឹម៧៩ បានចូលមកវាយប្រហារទីតាំងខ្មែររំដោះ នៅភូមិជ្រោយព្រួស។ ក្នុងពេលវាយប្រហារនោះមានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ២នាក់ឈ្មោះ ទុំ ឃិត ជាមេកងនៅភូមិត្រពាំងរូង បានទៅទាក់ទង ជាមួយមេភូមិខាងលើឈ្មោះ ពេត ធំ ដើម្បីឱ្យអ្នកស្រុកគេច ខ្លួនចេញពីការវាយប្រហារនេះ។
