A source reported that on March 18, 1971, the North Viet Cong transported a large amount of rice to hide in 3 places which located to the east of Sam Phy village at WV:234-419, 238-422 and 253-738, in Cheu Teal sub-district, Sandann district, Kampong Thom province.
About 300 enemies armed with various guns had set up camps at WV:199-250 and 213-248, situated in the south of Nieng mountain, Sandann district. ព័ត៌មានពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ មកថាកាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៨ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ យៀកកុងខាងជើង បានដឹកនាំអង្កយកទៅលាក់ទុកនៅតាម ស្ទឹងមាន៣កន្លែងរៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ។ ស្ថិតនៅខាងកើតភូមិសំភី ត្រង់ចំណុច ឌុបឌឺវ៉េតេៈ ២៣៨-៤២២ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ឈើទាល ស្រុកសណ្ដាន់ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ។ អង្កមួយចំនួនទៀតពួកខ្មាំងយៀកកុងលាក់ទុកក្នុង សង្កាត់ ស្រុកសណ្ដាន់ ត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ២៣៤-៤១៩ និងចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េវ៉េៈ ២៥៣-៤៣៨។ ខ្មាំងប្រដាប់អាវុធ៣០០នាក់ ធើ្វជំនុំខាងត្បូងភ្នំនាង ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ១៩៩-២៥០ និង ២១៣-៥៤៨ ក្នុង ស្រុកសណ្ដាន់។
