About 500 Khmer Communist soldiers equipped with M16 guns, PMAC guns, two 60mm mortars and two 81mm heavy artilleries under the command of Sa Sitha, in Battalion 275 moved to Kampong Tong village at VS 207-667 in Kep district, Kam Pot province. They attempted to raid our National Army were expanding thier forces to defense front line of Kep provincial town.
ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ នៅក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ២៧៥ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ធុនដូចជា កាំភើ្លងអ៊ឹម១៦, កាំភ្លើងប៉េអ៊ឹមអាសេ, កាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ទំហំ៦០មម ២ដើម, ទំហំ៨១មម ២ដើមក្រោមបញ្ជា ឈ្មោះ ស ស៊ីថា និងមានរថយន្ដសេអ៊ឹមសេចំនួន៦គ្រឿងមកនៅភូមិ កំពង់ទង់ ចំណុចវ៉េអេស ២០៧-៦៧៧ នៅស្រុកកែប ខេត្ដកំពត ដើម្បីទប់ទល់ទ័ពយើងកុំឱ្យពង្រីកខ្សែក្រវ៉ាត់ការពារក្រុងកែប។
