About 80 Viet Cong Armed Forces hid in O Kong forest VT:770-923, Sangkat Chvang, Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province, to attack National Army, while the 30 others moved from Ponhea Vieng village VT:743-956, Sangkat Chrey Las in the same district and province to Trapeang Russei village VT:714-965.
មានខ្មាំងយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធប្រហែល៨០នាក់ បានលាក់ខ្លួននៅក្នុង ព្រៃអូកុង វ៉េតេៈ៧៧០-៩២៣ សង្កាត់ឈ្វាង ស្រុកពញាឮ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ដើម្បីពួកស្ទាក់វាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិជាតិ។ ចំណែកឯខ្មាំង៣០នាក់ផេ្សងទៀត បានចេញពីភូមិពញាវៀង វ៉េតេៈ៧៤៣-៩៥៦ សង្កាត់ជ្រៃលាស់ ស្រុក និងខេត្ដដូចខាងលើ ឆ្ពោះមកភូមិត្រពាំងឫស្សី វ៉េតេៈ៧១៤-៩៦៥។
