On March 5, 1973, some Khmer-Yuon Viet Cong came to stay in a forest of Wat Thma Kor, Lvea Em district of Vihear Suor. They inteuded to raid National Marine Corps, and reinforces their troops who were in a fighting with national army in Banteay Dek sub-district, Kien Svay district and in Lvea Sar, Lvea Em district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៥ មីនា ១៩៧៣ មានយួននិងខ្មែរយៀកកុងមួយចំនួនបាន ចូលមកស្នាក់នៅក្នុងព្រៃមុខវត្ដថ្មគរ ស្រុកល្វាឯម ខេត្ដវិហារសួគ៌។ ពួកខ្មាំងខាងលើមានបំណងស្ទាក់បាញ់កងម៉ារីនរបស់កងទ័ពជាតិ និង ជាជំនួយដល់ទ័ពគ្នាវាដែលបានវាយប្រហារមូលដ្ឋានកងទ័ពជាតិនៅ សង្កាត់បន្ទាយដែក ស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ និងស្រុកល្វាសរ ស្រុកល្វាឯម។
