On September 28, 1974, approximately 500 Khmer Rouge troops under the command of Ren, set up a military headquarter in Keo Kam Phleung village at VS 962-892, Ror Menh sub district, Koh Andet district, Takeo province. Another group transported weapons by many boats to Prek Lbap at VS 313-884, and Prek Tbal Leu at VS 031-876 in an attempt to attack South vietnamese troop who had infiltrated into Cambodian territory.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៨-កញ្ញា-១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរក្រហមប្រមាណ៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ រិន បានមកតាំងទីបញ្ជា ការសឹកនៅភូមិកែវកាំភ្លើង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េអេស ៩៦២-៨៩២ សង្កាត់រម៉េញ ស្រុកកោះអណ្ដែត ខេត្ដតាកែវ។ ប្រភពបានបន្ថែមថា ពួកខ្មែរក្រហមមួយក្រុមទៀត បានដឹកជញ្ជូនគ្រឿងសញ្វវុធតាមទូក ជាច្រើនគ្រឿងទៅកាន់ព្រែកល្បាប់ ត្រង់វ៉េអេស ៣១៣-៨៨៤ និងព្រែកក្បាលលើ ត្រង់វ៉េអេស ០៣១-៨៧៦ ក្នុងបំណងវាយ ប្រហារ កងទ័ពយួនខាងត្បូងដែលជ្រៀតចូលមកក្នុងស្រុកខ្មែរ។
