A source reported that about 200 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers under the command of Yak Phon, moved from Prek Angkunh village at WT 411-595 in Prek Kandieng sub-district, Peam district, Prey Veng province to hide at WT 126-815 and 128-807 in Bat Dav village, Kampong Chamlang sub-district, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province. The weapons were used in this unit as the following: four 75mm heavy artilleries, two 60mm mortars, two 30 mm machine guns, P-40 guns and PM china guns.
ប្រភពព័ត៌មានផ្ដល់មកថា មានពួកខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួន២០០នាក់ ដែល នៅក្រោមមេបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ យក្ស ផុន បានដំណើរតាមការ លូតចេញពីភូមិព្រែកអង្គុញ ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ៤១១-៥៩៥ ឃុំ ព្រៃកណ្ដៀង ស្រុកពាមរ៍ ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង ដើម្បីទៅលាក់ខ្លួននៅភូមិបាត់ ដាវ ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១២៦-៨១៥ ឃុំកំពង់ចម្លង ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល រហូតទល់នឹងចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១២៨-៨០៧ ។ សម្ភាររបស់ខ្មាំងមានកាំភ្លើងកាណុង៧៥មម ចំនួន៤ដើម, កាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ទំហំ៦០មម ចំនួន២ដើម និងកាំភ្លើងយន្ដចិនទំហំ ៣០មម ចំនួន២ដើម និងប៉េ៤០ និងកាំភ្លើងដៃម៉ាក់ប៉េអ៊ឹមចិនតាន់ ចម្រុះគ្នាផង។
