On March 13, 1973, around 300 North Yuon Viet Cong soldiers in black uniforms armed with PM-AC and carabine rifles hid in villages, Am Peov Prey sub-district, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. They attempted to raid National Army who guarded along national road #2.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៣ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងចំនួន ប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ ស្លៀកពាក់ខ្មៅប្រដាប់អាវុធប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ និងការ៉ាប៉ីន ចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងភូមិនីមួយៗពី១២នាក់ ទៅ២៥នាក់ ក្នុងឃុំអំពៅព្រៃ ស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ក្នុងគោលបំណងចាំវាយ ឆ្មក់កងទ័ពជាតិយើងដែលប្រចាំការតាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២។
