On March 04, 1973, about 500 North yuon Viet Cong soldiers set up shelters at the center of an area bordered at WV 033-024, 003-033, 098-024 and 018-013 in forest along the edge of channel, located to the North of Bay Teav village in Tbaung Krapae sub-district, Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province. They were responsible for helping Khmer Rouge soldiers who were going down from Kratie province in order to attack Kampong Thom provincial town shortly there after.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងចំនួន ប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានតាំងជម្រកនៅក្នុង ព្រៃតាមាត់អូរខាងជើងភូមិបាយទាវ ក្នុងរង្វង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េវ៉េៈ ០៣៣-០២៤, ០០៣-០៣៣, ០៩៨-០២៤ និងឌុបដឺវ៉េវ៉េៈ ០១៨-០១៣ ក្នុងឃុំត្បូងក្រពើ ស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ។ ទ័ពខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះសម្រាប់ជួយដល់ពួកខ្មែរក្រហម ដែលចុះមកពី ខេត្ដក្រចេះ ក្នុងបំណងវាយយកក្រុងកំពង់ធំ នៅពេលឆាប់ៗខាងមុខនេះ។
