Between March10-13, 1973, around 850 Khmer Viet Cong
soldiers were divided into two groups to stay in villages as the following:
About 450 enemies armed with three 82mm mortars, two 60mm mortars in battalion 105 set up shelters between VT 580-863 and VT 584-863 to the west of Chrey Krang Khnaor pagoda in Chan Sen sub-district, Peang Leang district. 400 others armed with three 82mm mortars and PM-AC rifles in battalion 102 established shelters between VT 587-864 and VT 590-864 to the North of Chrey Krang Khnaor pagoda in Clan Sen sub-district, Peang Leang district, Kirirom sub-province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១០-១៣ មីនា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ៨៥០នាក់ មកស្នាក់នៅតាមភូមិនានាដូចខាងក្រោមៈ ១. ខ្មាំងចំនួន៤៥០នាក់ ក្នុងវរៈសេនាតូច១០៥ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ធុន ពិសេសមានកាំភើ្លងត្បាល់៨២មម ៣ដើម, ៦០មម ២ដើម មកតាំងជម្រកនៅខាងលិចវត្ដជ្រៃក្រាំងខ្នោរ ក្នុងរង្វង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៥៨០-៨៦៣ រហូតដល់វ៉េតេ ៥៨៤-៨៦៣ ក្នុងឃុំចន្ទ័សែន ស្រុកពាំងលាំង។ ២. ខ្មាំងចំនួន៤០០នាក់ ក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូច១០២ មានកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ ៨២មម ៣ដើម និងប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ មកតាំងជម្រកនៅខាងជើងវត្ដជ្រៃ ក្រាំងខ្នោរ ក្នុងរង្វង់វ៉េតេ ៥៨៧-៨៦៤ រហូតដល់វ៉េតេ ៥៩០-៨៦៤ ក្នុងឃុំចន្ទ័សែន ស្រុកពាំងលាំង ខេត្ដគីរីរម្យ។
