A source reported that North Yuon Viet Cong had dug 4 big trenches for keeping ammunition and rice. The distance from one to another was about 10 to 20 m. In the surrounding areas of the trenches, there were 40 armed forces equipped with a 75 mm cannon, two 30 mm machine guns, and five FM-AC guns.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង បានជីកលេណដ្ឋានក្នុង ដីយ៉ាងធំធ្វើឃ្លាំងផ្ទុកគ្រាប់រំសេវ និងអង្ករមាន៤កន្លែង ឃ្លាតចម្ងាយ ពី១០ម៉ែត្រទៅ២០ម៉ែត្រ ពីកន្លែងមួយទៅមួយ។ នៅជុំវិញបរិវេណ ឃ្លាំងនោះមានខ្មាំងប្រដាប់អាវុធចំនួន៤០នាក់ នៅយាមព្រមទាំងមានកាំភ្លើងធុនធ្ងន់ គឺកាណុងទំហំ៧៥មម ចំនួន១ដើម កាំភ្លើងយន្ដទំហំ៣០មម ចំនួន២ដើម និងកាំភ្លើងអេហ្វអ៊ឹម-អាសេ ចំនួន៥ដើម។
