On August 29, 1972, the North Yuon Viet Cong soldiers placed one 75 mm heavy artillery at VU 802-039 in the south of O Sambour village, Koh Nguon sub-district, Kampong Svay district. They attempted to fire shells at Kampong Thom provincial town. This heavy artillery was guarded by 30 enemies.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៩ សីហា ១៩៧២ យួនយៀកកុងបានតាំងកាំភ្លើង ៧៥មម ចំនួន១ដើមនៅចុងភូមិអូរសំបួរ ត្រើយខាងត្បូងវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៨០២-០៣៩ ឃុំគោកងួន ស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយ ដោយបានដាក់ បែរកាណុងកាំភ្លើងឱ្យចំទីក្រុងកំពង់ធំ។ នៅកន្លែងតាំងកាំភ្លើងនោះ មានខ្មាំងចំនួន ៣០នាក់នៅយាមកាមទីនោះផង។
