On November 22, 1972, North Yuon-Khmer Viet Cong soldiers held a meeting, under the presidency of North Yuon Viet Cong colonel Ba Bang, in Siem Reap province in which they raised up about peace talk and cease-fire. However Khmer Viet Cong didn't agree to negotiate with national government and alleged society occupied by National Government unjust society. In addition, they also criticized American politic.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២២-វិចិ្ឆកា-១៩៧២ ពួកខ្មែរ និងយួនយៀកកុងបាន បើកកិច្ចប្រជុំមួយក្រោមអធិបតីភាពវរៈសេនីយ៍ឯកយួនយៀកកុង ឈ្មោះ បា បាំង ខេត្ដសៀមរាប។ កិច្ចប្រជុំនេះនិយាយអំពីរក សន្ដិភាពឱ្យខ្មែរនៅពេលប្រកាសឈប់បាញ់គ្នា។ ប៉ុន្ដែពួកខ្មែរ យៀកកុងមិនព្រមចូលរួមនឹងរដ្ឋាភិបាលទេ ដោយចោទថាជាសង្គម អយុត្ដិធម៌ ហើយបានបន្ទោសបង្អាប់នយោបាយអាមេរិចកាំងទៀត។
