So Son, who lived in Smaong sub-district, Treang district, Takeo province was the son of Mr. So Set and Mrs Kim Chhorn. He was allowed to serve Khmer National Army as Sergeant-Trainee on May 16, 1970 with a 3 year contract.
ឈ្មោះ សូ សុន រស់នៅឃុំស្មោង ស្រុកទ្រាំង ខេត្ដតាកែវ ជាកូន របស់ឈ្មោះ សូ សែត និងនាង គឹម ឈន។ ប្រភពត្រូវបានអនុញ្ញាត ឱ្យចូលបម្រើក្នុងកងយោធពលខេមរជាតិ ក្នុងនាទីជាសិស្សពលបាលត្រី កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៦ ឧសភា ១៩៧០ ដោយបានចុះកិច្ចសន្យាចំនួន៣ ឆ្នាំជាមួយរដ្ឋាភិបាល។
