On January 25 1973, about 200 Yuon Viet Cong to arrested Mi Chea, wooden patom , a former chief of Prek Ambel commune, Sa Ang district, and cut his stomach open in an accuse of convincing village to act against them. About 1,500 of Khmer Viet Cong and Khmer Liberation and Yuon Viet Cong established their bases at VT 044-393 in Sa Ang district, Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៥ មករា ១៩៧៣ យួនយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ២០០នាក់ ចូលមកចាប់ឈ្មោះ មិន ជា (ដង្ខៅឈើ) ដែលវាតែងតាំង ជាមេឃុំព្រែកអំបិល ស្រុកស្អាង យកទៅវះពោះសម្លាប់ចោលដោយចោទ ថា ជាអ្នកបំបះបំបោរអ្នកស្រុកឱ្យប្រឆាំងនឹងពួកវា។ ខ្មែរយៀកកុង និងខ្មែររំដោះ ព្រមទាំងយួនយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល១,៥០០នាក់ មាន ទីតាំងនៅត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ ០៤៤-៣៩៣ ក្នុងស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
