On February 13, 1973, the Khmer Viet Cong soldiers moved from Kampong Svay sub-district toward Prek Thmei village at WT 030-677 and VT 994-688, in Prek Thmei sub-district, and they then continued to gather togather along the edge of Boeng Thom lake at WT 078-688 in Koki sub-district, Kean Svay district, Kandal province. They attempted to destroy Chba Am Peov district, shortly there after.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៣ កុម្ភៈ ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធបាន ធើ្វចលនាចេញពីសង្កាត់កំពង់ស្វាយ សំដៅទៅភូមិព្រែកថី្ម ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ ០៣០-៦៧៧ និងវ៉េតេៈ ៩៩៤-៦៨៨ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ព្រែកថី្ម រួចក៏ចូលមកផ្ដុំទ័ពនៅតាមមាត់បឹងធំ ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ ០៧៨-៦៨៨ ក្នុងសង្កាត់គគីរ ស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ខ្មាំងនេះមានបំណង វាយប្រហារខ័ណ្ឌច្បារអំពៅក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗនេះ។
