On April 25, 1970, Van Sok, born in Krauch Chmar district, Kampong Cham province, voluntarily joined the National Army, as a corporal-trainee in militia police unit signing a 3 years contract with National Government.
ឈ្មោះ វ៉ាន់ សុក រស់នៅស្រុកក្រូចឆ្មារ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដ ចូលបម្រើក្នុងកងយោធពលខេមរៈជាតិ កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៥ មេសា ១៩៧០ ដោយមាននាទីជាសិស្សនាយទោតម្រួតយោធា។ ប្រភពក៏បានចុះ កិច្ចសន្យាចំនួន៣ឆ្នាំ ជាមួយរដ្ឋាភិបាលក្នុងការចូលបម្រើការងារខាង លើផងដែរ។
