On July 01, 1967, Hab Teav, born in Siem Reap district, Siem Reap province, voluntarily joined the National Army. According to declaration # 2903, dated on December 02, 1967, he was appointed as first-class private.
ឈ្មោះ ហាប់ ទាវ រស់ នៅស្រុកសៀមរាប ខេត្ដសៀមរាប បានស័្មគ្រ ចិត្ដចូលបម្រើក្នុងកងយោធពលខេមរជាតិ ក្នុងនាទីជាព្រិន្ទបាលឯក។ បន្ទាប់មកនៅថ្ងៃ១ កក្កដា ១៩៧៦ ប្រភពត្រូវបានតែងតាំងជានាយ ទោថ្នាក់ទី១ តាមសេចក្ដីប្រកាសលេខ ២៩០៣ ចុះថ្ងៃទី២ ធ្នូ ១៩៦៧។
