On May 16, 1970, Pech Soy, born in Kampong Chhang district, Kampong Chhang province, voluntarily served the National Army, as corporal-trainee in Military Police Unit.
ឈ្មោះ ពេជ សយ រស់នៅស្រុកកំពង់ឆ្នាំង ខេត្ដកំពង់ឆ្នាំង បានស្ម័គ្រ ចិត្ដចូលបម្រើក្នុងកងយោធពលខេមរជាតិ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៦ ឧសភា ១៩៧០ ដោយមានមុខនាទីជាសិស្សពលបាលត្រីតម្រួតយោធា។
