December 19-28, 1972, about 1,200 North Yuon-Khmer Viet Cong soldiers, under the command of Ta Naom, came to stay at VT 656-959 in Trach Tong village, Trach Tong commune, Oudong district, Oudong Meanchey province. They attempted to attack National Army base in Chrey Las, Oudong Meanchey province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៩-ធ្នូ-១៩៧២ ដល់ថ្ងៃ២៨-ធ្នូ-១៩៧២ យួននិង ខ្មែរយៀកកុងខាងជើងចំនួនប្រហែល១,២០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការ ឈ្មោះ តានោម ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃចូលមកស្នាក់នៅភូមិត្រាចទង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៥៦-៩៥៩ ក្នុងឃុំត្រាចទង ស្រុកឧដុង្គ ខេត្ដឧដុង្គមានជ័យ។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះមានបំណងវាយប្រហារ កងការពារយើងនៅប្រចាំការជ្រៃលាស់ ឧត្ដុង្គមានជ័យ។
