On October 4, 1972, about 350 North Yuon Viet Cong and Khmer Viet Cong armed forces moved from Staong district, Kampong Thom province. And they then gathered with 1,500 others who moved from Russei Krang village at UU 472-987 in Maong district to stay at UV 115-116 in Koh Kra Lor village, Maong district, Battambang province. Among 1,500 enemies were Khmer Islamic and Vietnamese soldiers, attempting to destroy National Army between Svay Daun Keo and Mong. On the other hand, they attempted to cut off National Roads and Rail-ways.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ យួនយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុង ចំនួនប្រហែល៣៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃចេញពីស្រុក ស្ទោង ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ មកផ្ដុំគ្នាជាមួយកងទ័ពវាចំនួន១,៥០០នាក់ បាន ចេញពីភូមិឬស្សីក្រាំង ចំណុចអ៊ុយអ៊ុយ ៤៧២-៩៨៧ ក្នុងស្រុកមោង ឆ្ពោះទៅស្នាក់នៅភូមិកោះក្រឡ ត្រង់ចំណុចអ៊ុយវ៉េ ១១៥-១១៦ ក្នុងស្រុកមោង ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង។ ក្នុងចំណោមខ្មាំង ទាំង១,៥០០នាក់ នេះមានខ្មែរអ៊ីស្លាម និងយួនមានបំណងវាយប្រហារ កងការពារយើងចាប់ពីស្វាយដូនកែវ ដល់មោង និងបំផ្លាញផ្លូវជាតិ និងផ្លូវរថភ្លើង។
