On November 15-16, 1972, around 350 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers, under the command of Ta Nat, in unit 29, region 15, built shelters at VT 781-555 in Kok Teal village, Tbeng commune, Kandal district, Kandal province. They attempted to cut off the national road 3 at VT 779-622 and 768-614, in Anlong Romiet commune. The weapons used in unite 29 were: 3 60mm motars, 2 82mm heavy artilleries, 15 B40 guns, 5 FM-ac guns, 5 M79 guns, 70 Pm-ac guns, 90 CKC guns and 2 walkies-talkies .
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៥-១៦-វិចិ្ឆកា-១៩៧២ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់ អាវុធប្រហែល៣៥០នាក់ នៅក្រោមបញ្ជាការ តាណាត នៅក្នុង កងពលលេខ២៩ តំបន់១៥ បានចូលមកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិកុកទាល ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៨១-៥៥៥ សង្កាត់ត្បែង ស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ មានបំណងវាយផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៣ នៅចំណុច វ៉េតេ ៧៧៩-៦២២, ៧៦៨-៦១៤ ក្នុងសង្កាត់អន្លង់រមៀត។ ចំណែក អាវុធដែលប្រើមានកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់៦០មម ៣ដើម, ៨២មម ២ដើម, បេ៤០ ១៥ដើម, ហែសអ៊ឹម-អាសេ ៥ដើម, អ៊ឹម៧៩ ៥ដើម, ប៉េអ៊ឹម ៧០ដើម, សេកាសេ ៩០ដើម និងវិទ្យុទាក់ទង២គ្រឿង។
