On November 01, 1972, about 500 Khmer Viet Cong hid at VT 828-594 in Cha village, and 200 others hid at VT 745-630 in Ro Lous village and at VT 753-636 in Daem Reus village in Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. At 8 am, they sent a letter asking a chief of Kandal Stung district, to move this soldiers from Kandal Stung district office. Because they attempted to occupy Kandal Stoeng district office and cut off Kampong Tuol bridge.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១ ខែវិចិ្ឆកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធចំនួន ប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ លាក់ខ្លួននៅភូមិចារ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨២៥-៥៩៤ និងមួយផ្នែកទៀតមានគ្នាចំនួនប្រហែល២០០នាក់ លាក់ខ្លួន នៅភូមិរលួស ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៤៥-៦៣០ និងភូមិដើមឫស ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៥៣-៦៣៦ ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដ កណ្ដាល។ នៅម៉េាង៨ៈ០០ព្រឹក ថ្ងៃដដែលពួកវាបានផ្ញើសំបុត្រឱ្យ អភិបាលស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង អោយនាំកងទ័ពដកថយអោយអស់ ពីសាលាស្រុក ព្រោះពួកវានឹងវាយកាន់កាប់សាលាស្រុក និងផ្ដាច់ ស្ពានកំពង់ទួលទៀត។
