On October 25 1974, Battalion 704 in Vihear Sour sub-war region captured Mao Yan, a Khmer Communist, along with his weapon on a battlefield in Barong Knaroka village. He confessed that he was a soldiers in Platoon 1, Company 7, Battalion 123, Region 24, Zone 203.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៥ តុលា ១៩៧៤ កងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ៧០៤ នៃផ្នែកសឹករងវិហារសួគ៌ បានចាប់ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដឈ្មោះ ម៉ៅ យ៉ន ព្រមទាំងអាវុធផង នៅលើលានប្រយុទ្ធភូមិបារ៉ុងខុ្នររកា។ ក្រោយពីការសួរចម្លើយប្រភពបានសារភាពថា ខ្លួនមាននាទីជា យុទ្ធជនក្រុម៣ កងអនុសេនាតូច១ កងអនុសេនាធំ៧ នៃកងវរៈ១២៣ តំបន់២៤ ភូមិភាគ២០៣។
