On January 4, 1973, 50 Khmer Viet Cong armed forces hid themselves under the bridge No. 4 at WT 060-930, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province in an attempt to fire 60mm mortars and B-40 rockets at National Army position in bridge No. 5.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ចំនួន៥០នាក់ បានចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួននោក្រោមស្ពានទី៤ ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ ០៦០-៩៣០ ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល ដើម្បីធើ្វការបាញ់ផ្លោងដោយ កាំភើ្លង៦០មម និងបេ-៤០ មកលើទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិដែលប្រចាំការ នៅស្ពានទី៥។
