On January 06, 1973, around 300 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers armed with three 60mm mortars, five B-40 guns, eight M-79 guns, ten FM-AC guns, PM-AC guns and carabine guns under the command of Ta Mat and Lim Came to stay at VT 453-837, in Ta Pet village and at VT 453-825, along the edge of a channel in Krang Chek sub-district, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province. They attempted to destroy the National Army base at VT 483-787, in Krang Chek village.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនប្រហែល ៣០០នាក់ ក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ១១២ នៅតំបន់៣៣ ក្រោមបញ្ជា ការឈ្មោះ តា ម៉ាត់ និងឈ្មោះ លឹម មានកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ទំហំ៦០មម ៣ដើម, បេ-៤០ ចំនួន៥ដើម, អ៊ឹម-៧៩ ចំនួន៨ដើម, អេហ្វអ៊ឹម-អាសេ ១០ដើម, ប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ, ការ៉ាប៉ីនជាច្រើនដើម ចូលមកស្នាក់ នៅភូមិចំការតាប៉ែត វ៉េតេៈ ៤៥៣-៨៣៧ និងនៅមាត់អូរ វ៉េតេៈ ៤៥៣-៨២៥ ក្នុងឃុំក្រាំងចេក ស្រុកសំរោងទង ខេត្ដកំពង់សឺ្ព។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះនឹងវាយកងការពារយើងនៅក្រាំងចេក ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ ៤៨៣-៧៨៧។
